Read honest and unbiased product reviews from our users.If INOV-8 could make a martial arts shoe with a sole that took into account a lot of twisting and rotation (heel and ball), which most martial arts involve, and slightly reduced the stickiness, indoor application would be much improved (but I realize these shoes weren't originally designed with this application in mind, they are a runner's shoe).

Since they contain extra cushioning and lack the flexibility of many of the other minimalist shoes, the ride feels much faster. The Bare Access 3 have a decently comfortable ride on the road, though not the sensitivity we look for in a minimalist running shoe. Although not a specific running shoe, the Bare-XFs are aimed at all varieties of cross training, be that Crossfit, circuit training, strength and conditioning, plyometrics, spinning, pilates or whatever you incorporate into your training regime.
