In my mind, the Street Triple has always been the perfect combination of comfort, handling, and power. As Lemmy puts it, “This is the Goldilocks bike in Triumph’s lineup.”. For 2018, Triumph has updated the entire Street Triple line with three distinct bikes, the RS being the flagship. RevZilla photo. But time marches on, and on the 10th
The first one I found is a new 2020 model and the other one is a 2021, but it's a demo bike with a little over 500 miles. They look identical so I'm leaning towards the 2020 model because it's cheaper and I don't know how well the 2021 one was broken into during its first 500 miles. If anyone has any experience with demo models or knows the
More Power Than The Old S But RS Still Rules. The 765cc triple heart is shared between the two 2020 models. The one on the Triple R puts out 118PS and 77Nm. Compared to the old S that was soldThat's exactly what you get with the Street Triple R. So yes, they do make the Street with fully adjustable suspension. But I agree that fully adjustable suspension should be on the standard model. The "R" model should just be the standard model. It doesn't even cost much more and would be even cheaper if it were standard on every bike.
DTLAsmellslikepee '18 Street Triple RS, '17 Freeride 250R, '14 Grom, '85 RZ350 • Additional comment actions I have ridden an awful lot of bikes and I keep saying the street triple is the best street bike out there. It's nearly as capable as a Daytona in the corners. Yes, the Daytona has better HP in the upper RPM range, but a Street Triple will hang until about 100mph. I would say the Daytona is sexier, but the Street Triple is by far the better do-it-all bike. However, if you find the Daytona comfortable, get it!The both are great bikes. The only reason I would pick R over RX is red wheels. I know they look sexy at first, but personally, I like black wheels with red stipes better. ST is 50 lbs lighter and makes more power. Triple engines also make their power down low compares to inline 4 engines. ST is a better bike.
